Date limiting PH stories at bottom of screen

Is there a way of restricting the age of stories that appear as "You may like" links at the bottom of the screen?

Occasionally I click on an interesting looking story about the announcement of a new car, only to find out the story is very old.

In addition, the associated threads keep being resurrected by people randomly commenting on the articles.

Don't get me started on the non-PH content.

As for the PH contents, I've seen this story repeatedly in the last week:

Nearly three years old.

Not about a new car in this case at least.

I got fed up of the PH overadvertising, I blocked them.

I'm happy with some ads, or non intrusive ads, I'd even click them if they looks intresting, but PH takes the piss, so I just blocked the lot.

The ****ing stupid "you may also like" links are about as helpful as the ones on AutoTrader.....example from today:
