I have the well documented flashing light and lack of power problem, turn the engine off wait a few seconds and back on again and away you go.
Now there is much written but few results when the problem is sorted.

Is there anyone who's had the problem and how was it resolved?

cheers

When my Mondeo TDCI did this it turned out to be the camshaft position sensor. Ford made a revised part, a grey one to replace the original black one if I remember correctly.

Thanks for the reply, I fitted a cam sensor last night but will need to see if this has done the trick as it was 2 weeks between the faults.

The same fault particularly with the Mondeo seems it could also be injectors so Im crossing my fingers as had injectors done about 2-3 years ago.

If it's a TDCi most probably injector fault

If it's a TDCi most probably injector fault, when was the last time the fuel filter was changed ?

Dont fit parts because John Doe on the internet says his car had the same light on and he fitted x and it fixed it.

The light flashing indicates a fault with the diesel injection system, it could literally be anything from the glowplugs to the fuel pump.

Get it diagnosed properly, yes it costs money but that is just how it is.
