Bought this last month for a year of track days / daily use .. absolutely love it! Still getting used to the car, handling and speed wise, and all the gadgets that are on the car!

Getting Sport line springs from Eibach and polybushing the dog bone this week

Got a rolling road in two weeks and then my first track day!
Loads to do, need to get atleast one bucket seat in there first before the day so i dont get thrown around!

Nice motor, wouldn't imagine a bucket is especially necessary though? Especially if it's still to be used as a daily driver. The sports seats in the Clio are pretty good.

Particularly if its your first track day. Take it easy, enjoy it, see what's the weak link on/in the car before upgrading if I were you. Where are you doing the track day?

Lovely car, think I'll be after one later in the year.

The seat belt locking gadget will do you for your first day, I'd suggest spending the 'bucket Seat" money on a brake service and petrol :-)

Great little cars aren't they!

I bought mine as a runaround a year ago and loved it. I actually found myself taking this one for a quick spin more often then my weekend toy.
And mine has recaro bucket seats which are still fine when used as a daily, just a bit of a pain to get people in the back.

It's worth joining that cliosport forum, loads of tips/advice/parts etc on there wink

Awesome little cars, miss mine a lot. Longest I ever owned a car, had it for nearly seven years.

Great fun motors.

If it's your first track day, then don't bother with the bucket seat. Spend your cash on tuition.

If you mean it's your first day in this car, carry on...

Good man smile

Standard discs are fine, in terms of the brakes I've personally had no problems on standard pads although they are relatively new and many people say uprated pads are an absolute must. I'm probably just being too gentle on them.....

So we're further down the line!

Done a track day a few months ago, spent loads of money on sorting belts / power steering out and its time to get it track worthy

got new wheels with semi slicks and a set of P zero slicks sat away until i know the cars ready for them!

Had it dyno'd as well with a healthy 176 bhp smile
