Just put a deposit down on a silver 325D M sport, hopefully pick it up on Monday!

It has most of the options I wanted, just doesn't have leather, but does have Nav and something called Media Pack?? It has an iPod cable in the glove box, does anyone know anything about this system? I don't have an iPod, so could I swap the cable?

Ta
Buy an iPod to store all your music - apple products exceptionally good.

The iPod in means that if you have an apple product these ( memory dependant) can store thousands of albums in an object smaller than a wallet. Excellent technology. Remember the 6 CD multichanger was ground breaking well digital media is like hot hatch to warp speed enterprise.

Enjoy the car wink

If I do pull the trigger on the E90 330d I'm seeing shortly....
Yay! Inspection of the car came back very positive with just a few minor cosmetic bits that were found smile Hopefully going to collect Fri evening or Sat morning in time for a road trip to the Lake District next week smile Might also be able to squeeze in swirl flap removal and remap before the trip as well biggrin
Just picked up the old girl, and so far I'm dead impressed smile Quiet, refined, comfortable, gets a bit of a hustle on when you prod the loud pedal, so far so good smile And literally not a mark on the interior (apart from wedding ring wear on the gear knob, already ordered a new one) despite nearly 134k miles, makes Italian leather look like tissue paper. Can't wait for her remap and dyno session tomorrow smile I've brimmed her from virtually empty with V-power diesel in case it makes any difference hehe

When I dreamed about owning a straight 6 BMW when I was little, this wasn't strictly what I had in mind, but for less than £5K it she feels like an *awful* lot of car smile

One thing I'd buy is Wynns diesel injector cleaner - you can use one bottle over 4 tankfulls of derv. Will get rid of any clogging (if any) plus its only £12 for 4 bottles so no cost at all and will certainly benefit you.

Oh a recommendation seriously only go for Michelin pilot sport rubber it will last deep into 30k miles - mine nearly did 40k miles really good and they were non run flats.

On eBay buy the latest maps on DVD £10 over the £100-150 OEM and its identical.

Always use OEM parts they really do last well.

Make sure its upto temp every time before you open the taps as in sure you do anyway.

Enjoy.
