Yes sorry i wasnt being very clear, it was removed when i bought it now it seems its back on with an additional 9k miles.
I guess they are padding out their stock.

I suspect it is rather like number plate companies who mainly advertise plates they don't own... on the basis that they will contact the owner if an enquiry comes through...

perhaps the dealer is putting it up (with an estimation of your additional mileage) on the basis that if someone is interested they will contact you with an offer...

not necessarily illegal (depending on their small print), but not necessarily ethical either...

get a friend to phone them up saying that he needs one by Friday and see what happens!

Could be they are just using a picture of your car pending the one they are selling arriving and getting their own pictures of it - or they could be doing as you say.

Dont really mind but would have preferred the reg no not being displayed or even a quick call asking if it would be ok.

Perhaps they have a special surprise treat being readied for you, David, in exchange for your car.

An Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

I would give them a call. - smile

I think thats a bit naughty and would give them a call. However, it might just be a pic they decided to use for one thats coming in, though they could've blanked the plate off.

They seem to use stock or old photos for some adds. I've seen cars advertised with B&O and the picture is missing the sub, full piano back ski slope and pic shows only half and so on.

If I were a customer I'd be annoyed id they were advertising a car they weren't sure was for sale and was purely speculative so they could bid the owner. Could be a waste of time and I don't think a dealer could afford to mess someone around at this price point.

Id imagine it's a car coming in for which they don't have pics.

I'd get on the phone to our mate, Keir and just ask him to clarify.

Most likely the admin girl has uploaded the wrong video and pictures.

Yesterday Keir mailed me to see if I was interested in a lightning silver V12, 09-59, 18600 miles and 3 owners which he said would be priced at £75,991 (subject to confirmation).

He also sent me some photos of a car with the reg W31 GGY.......

Thats a couple of Grand cheaper than mine was up for but twice the miles, still low though.

Appears to be a different car with a different registration date and mileage with the registration LJ59 TSU but still advertised with pictures of your car. BTW your reg plate is clearly visible on your forum profile picture if you're bothered.
