Just booked the 9.00am session, thought with only 20 places a session they would have been sold out already. Why so few cars out together is it just the national circuit they are using or the full circuit?

For the parade lap at the Classic a couple of years ago I used these:

But there was 1,200, mainly novices, on the circuit - £38.50 with a £2.5k excess if it's relevant. It gave me the peace of mind in was looking for.

They'll explain a lot in the brief. Only 20 cars per session on a very large track, you should be alright to find your feet on your own. Give your mirrors a glance every now and then but don't get glued to them or you won't enjoy yourself. Perhaps consider a bit of instruction? If you read the piece it says exactly that. It's the 1.6 mile National Circuit

Thinking of doing one of these for the first time - I have driven on track before quite a bit but not in my own car. Is the general consensus to go without insurance and just risk it? Is that what most people do? Track day insurance for 30 minutes seems a bit steep.
Any advice welcome - thanks.

Yes please. If you're going on track you don't need to reserve a space as you'll get one with your track time.

I am thinking about signing up for this session also although a newbie, would be an E92 Monte Edition. Never driven silverstone so it looks exciting!

I really wish there was some way to be notified about Sunday Service events, you come back the day after an announcement and the lists are full Happened twice now.

put your name down and hope for cancellations, surprising how many drop out at the death!
