Has any one had to, or does anyone do, or recommend a service to translate our Wedding Certificate from Mexican Spanish into English and Certify it?

I know this isn't really Finance, but thought it was probably the closest.

Cheers. smile

Does their UK embassy provide a translation/certification service?

The service you're looking for is a notarised translation, I believe, although there are various sorts of certified translation depending on what you need it for. A company like this one would be able to help. I only found them on google five minutes ago, so can't vouch for them.

Cheers. I had a Google earlier, but it's very hard to judge the reputation of a company based on their website. I found one called Manchester Translation claiming to be local, but they published a London area code number and had spelling mistakes on their website a number of times! Not exactly confident inspiring when a website offers a langauge (sic) translation service!!!

My wife needs a new passport and change her name on it at the same time. We have 12 weeks to get it all sorted.

if you were in a foreign country the Brit Consul would give you a list of translators that they accept.

I guess the Home Office would have a list.
