Does anyone know if these actually take place?
I was at a track day today at Oulton Park. All kinds there but not one TVR.
I would happily attend if any are organised.

A number of us TVR owners do track days together, up to about 10 of us. Keep an eye on the Chimaera pages or TVR events pages for the call to track!

Also the TVR Car Club do one a year, open to all TVR owners. Usually at Cadwell Park.

Email me via my profile and I will try to remember to email you an invite.

Finally, I will be doing Oulton this year and would welcome company. I will probably drag some of the usual suspects with me.

What car are you running on track?

A few of us are at Spa on 21st and 22nd March, another outing organised there in October as well.

Happy for you to join us.

Plenty of threads on trackdays. No specific forum for them though so best just to click on the 'TVR' tab in the thread identifier along the top of the page to see all the threads in the TVR forums in chronological order.

I'm aiming for Anglesey on the 14th of April - if Samy is ready.

Just make sure your car meets the sound requirements.

Is that the Dutch TVRCC event? I will see if Erin Dawes, to whom I appear to be related by marriage, will be able to cope on her own with the family, dogs and horses. She is always happy for me to enjoy myself with the TVR, just so long as she doesn't have to passenger.

Yes it is the Dutch TVRCC event and it is good fun more than just driving round the track they have speed events as well, sprint up the straight, slalom through cones, sprint through a chicane

We go thursday morning get to hotel through bags in room if they come put luggage in room and get car scrutinised in car park then have a few beers talk about TVR,s get showered then have a nice meal

Get a little tipsy next day do trackday

Go back to hotel have a beer then have a meal in the evening and prizes get awarded for the best times etc, I never win but enjoy any way

My other half came last year and really enjoyed it so it looks like she will be coming again, so other halfs are welcome if they don't come to the track the hotel has spas etc

Do they do noise testing at Anglesey now? I was there 2 years ago with Javelin and although it said when I booked that there was a 105dB limit, I didn't see a noise meter all day. And yes, the tunnels are great smile

I'm doing Silverstone on 21st March for the first time, just hoping for a dry day.

I spannered once at Zolder,,, I fell in love with the place.
Paid homage to a true great whilst I was there and the tracks ace,,
All the trees etc and the pits sqweezed in between two straights makes it really atmospheric,
Intoxicating

I love cones,,, you can go flat out and what,,, push a cone out the way,
That really sounds like a heavenly weekend

Note to oneself
I must get my car sorted... I can't miss out on all this fun any longer,,

Yes do come, my wife will be there and my friends wife comes too so Erin Dawes will not be alone

It is on Friday 26th June we go Thursday 25th June and get ferry form Dover about 10am back Saturday

I know you like your trackdays and this is something different, they have a Le Mans style start with four cars in a team, I really messed it up last year as I could not get the blooming key in the ignition and its a bit of a faff with T350 starting it, but I know what to do this year wink

If you did come along with us we would have a nice mix of cars in our little convoy, so far a Wedge 450, Chim (if you came), Griff Taraka, Tamora, my 4.5 T350

I don't recall them doing static tests year [at Anglesey]. Certainly tested at other circuits though.
