Hi Mate...SD1 i believe...Grimmers do them albeit a tad expensive...You might find them elsewhere a bit cheaper..Make sure you get the pulley as well as they sell them seperately and always use some thread lock on the pulley bolts....Ziga

I've got 2 spare pumps both in working order - one is the original from my car the other was a temp bought as a back up. Email me if you are interested.

IIRC some cars run the Ford pump mounted backwards on a bracket that puts it right at the front of the engine bay.

The SD1 pump is perhaps the most common; the Montego ran a near-identical one that differed in having a shorter neck but I don't see why it wouldn't work, I blagged one free from the guy who sold me my first lathe but have never got round to trying it.

I've got a 390SE with a steering pump missing, it was never fitted by the factory.

You need to fit a manual rack (Cortina MK iV I think) and then an intensive course of PT to build up your biceps.

Job done and a lighter and much less complex car.

Russ - in jest!

Only one leg like Mr Muscle, the clutch is very heavy (85 lbs).

I counteract this by hopping to the bar on my right leg (not from the bar - I don't waste beer - or corroded screws) and standing like a Flamingo when possible.

That looks like the one on my car; it seems to have been bastardised from one or more brackets and hangs off the front of the left-hand cylinder head.
