I never calculate the fuel consumption or even count up what I spent.

Best not to know.

I adopted this philosophy after my first trip in 2005 !! It's not about the cost, it's all about the enjoyment. wink

I have taken my son aged seven, with me great way to bond with him.
He is coming along again this year 13 yrs old now. I cannot put a price on that, he will always remember these times in years to come I hope?

My son is coming again this year. He came two years ago for our first ever trip.

Went with a mate last year. His first trip too. He plans of taking his brother next year.

We always take our own cars. Son will drive his F Type this time.

It may seem antisocial travelling alone, but a big part is the driving which we all want.
When we get to town where we are staying we use one or other car to go to events or the tram into the circuit.

Good chance to spend time together as he lives 150miles away.

CJA that's the problem......what would I replace it with?

Only tempted by an air cooled model at present but June is a long way off yet!
