I do not wear the watch all the time but have tried it on several times and it can lose 15 mins in 2 hours ut only when its on my wrist....... am i going mad or can this happen?

Any thought/comments ?

Warranty? Even if not, then Sale of Goods Act.
Either way, it needs looked at, and serviced/repaired.

Yes, it can happen but it's unusual. For that sort of loss it really needs to be stopping or have a slipping cannon pinion. Seeing as a slipping CP wouldn't be affected by wearing it or not, that suggests that it's stopping in some positions and then restarting as it moves. The problem with that is that it's usually caused by accidental damage to the balance pivots, which they're unlikely to cover under guarantee.

All the same, given the age of the watch, the first step should be to get it back to them for diagnosis. They may refuse guarantee and give some horrendous quote for repair, but you can worry about that if it happens.
