I would suggest clay pigeon shooting rather than paintballing if you are wanting the laird of the manor type stag do.

Had a stag do in Inverness a couple of years ago but we stayed in a city centre hotel.

Re the quads we went to Ardverikie Estate which was spectacular and did the quads and clay pigeons.

If you Google Ardverikie Quads you'll find it.

It's a fair bit South of Inverness but we hired a bus for the day.

Only downside of the location was the lack of facilities (food, etc) but the surroundings made up for that.

Id definitely recommend Great North Lodges in the Aviemore area. Hundreds of activities round there and just check out the accommodation -

http://www.bighuskylodge.co.uk
http://greatnorthlodges.co.uk/our-lodges/sleeping-...

Which are both part of http://greatnorthlodges.co.uk

If you want any advice on what to do in the area just let me know. There clay pigeon, quad biking, husky tours, white water rafting etc etc.

+1

A group of us stayed in Beaver Creek (ooh err!) and a second stag I was at stayed at the old mill on the spey. Both were great. Loads to do on the Rothiemurchas Estate.

Aviemore isn't exactly great for nightlife but there's plenty of boozers, a "club" (read meat market) and the usual take aways.

Some cracking driving roads up that neck of the woods too if it's a more sober affair.
