His Ukrainian "model" girlfriend seems to be rather interesting.
And fit!

So the latest is that it wasn't a drive-by shooting. A camera on the other side of the river captured the assailant emerging from a stairwell as Nemtsov walked by with his other half and shot him in the back four times.

The gunman then runs to a getaway car that screeches to a halt on the bridge, gets in and is whisked away.

I wonder if there's some interesting dash-cam footage that somebody has, but daren't offer up.

Probably an upsurge in google searches on how to safely and completely wipe memory cards from that part of the world.

Guess what...

Investigators looking into the murder of Boris Nemtsov have said that the CCTV in that area was down for maintenance at the time of the incident.

A lot of Orange banners there, I seem to remember the same when the Ukrainians grabbed Democracy with both hands...
They're the colours & symbol of Solidarnost "Solidarity", which is a grouping co-founded by Nemtsov of Russian liberal parties and organisations.

Or gulag fodder as they'll no doubt end up.

In Ukraine, black and orange flags were waved by pro-Russian activists. The Ribbon of Saint George has been used on Russian military medals & regimental colours long before the Soviet era.

The Russian authorities have announced they have two fall guys for the murder. They are from the Caucasus.

Georgia better be watching out for Russian military 'exercises' just over the boarder in the coming months.

Well, no. They have to be seen as efficient.

Baltic states shiver as Russia flexes muscles - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-31759558

Just found this on the BBC, apparently he's ALREADY been holding military exercises in some breakaway regions of Georgia.

James,

FWIW I didn't think the Russians used Uzi's: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uzi#Worldwide_sales

However, they may have some unlicensed Chinese copies listed in the above page!

What would really screw them on an original Uzi is the fact some have the operating instructionsinscribed in Hebrew on the gun itself confused

Nor me, and it does not look like it's in this list: http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/List_of_firearms_used_by...

Anyhow, not sure I'd wish to mess with the shoot first, ask questions later spetsnaz.

I dunno, dressed in black, have to grab the handle of a black gun incase you lose it, grab something else in that area instead ......

Best way to clear a room with an Uzi? Set it to auto and throw it in the room. I'll go off as soon as it hits the floor and will spray the room with about as much accuracy as if there was a dude holding it.
