Well Barry, do you have a plan of action with those wires?

Are they connected to the immobiliser receptor at the steering column end?
Does the white cable have a tracer colour, and is it wired into the coil LT supply from ( or to ) the tacho?

What sort of state are the connections under that tape? Are they soldered, crimped spade ends, or just corroded twist joints?

And what are those two black wires running across the top of the picture?

So many questions...... smile

I removed my immobiliser a few months ago. Wiring looked much the same as this. I think there were approx. 8 wires coming from the black box behind the centre console. Just a case of following each wire one at a time, and fixing as you go.

If I can do it, it most definitely wouldn't be classed as difficult.

Much happier now it is gone!! (though it didn't solve my starting issue)

Barry,

I have been in touch with the Tate Modern, and they would very much like to exhibit 'F--- THT's IT' as a replacement for Tracy Emin's "My Bed" installation, which is coming to the end of it's ( rather hackneyed in my view ) life.

Please could you let them know the actual title of your creation, and whether a four figure sum would grant them sole exhibition rights for 12 months, or if it would be possible to negotiate an outright purchase of your fantastic artwork.

Before I reply to them, we need to discuss my ( very reasonable ) commission rates. £££££££££££££££££££s would be acceptable.

Or beer

I await your reply good sir. smile
