Steel Daytona - What's it worth?

I've managed to secure a new Steel Daytona and I've been wearing it around the house for a few hours (with stickers in place) to see how it feels in place of my normal Sub.

The upshot is I like it but I'm not sure I want to keep it and so I'm wondering what I could reasonably expect to get for it if I decide to sell it. The second part to the question is where to sell, I'd welcome any alternative suggestions to the likes of eBay etc.

Well the grey market has them at about £8,700 against an RRP of about £7,900. So you might be able to make a few quid flogging it on Ebay assuming you bought it at RRP.

A dealer will give you over retail if your not too greedy, eBay is a pain in the arse

There not that hard to get hold of anymore,, I think you'd be looking around the £7.5k mark personally

Bit on the small side and not too rare any more, so a little under list price 'may' be doable. That bubble has been and gone, but still a nice watch though. Last couple I sold didn't achieve 'RRP' so I don't bother any more.

Thanks for your responses, they sort of fit with my thoughts but needed to double check with some like minded souls.

After a day wearing it yesterday I think I'll keep in in the short term and see if the Retail price goes up in the near future and then decide what to do.

Oh and I did consider the offer of 110 but concluded that my need was greater than yours
