Hey guys! Iv been in the market for a 3 series and have stumbled across a 316d. I have done abit of research online and found people have said they lack power and slower than the 320d. Would this be a huge lack in power that it's going to feel slow? Any advice on this would be much appreciated :-)

What age?

I'm currently driving a 320i (2010) and its frustratingly slow, so unless the 16d has a surprising amount of torque and the gearbox is perfectly matched I wouldn't bother tbh

Unless a remap would bring it up to 320d levels?

It's a 2010. Tbh I don't know anything about the car so was hopefully going to get some advice from the guru's on this site. The car I'm currently driving is a 1.2 clio so I think this will feel like a porsche to me lol!

Be careful of the spec. in an ES - when I bought an E46 Compact in 2005 ES meant Air-con instead of climate, non-heated door mirrors, manual rear windows, no parking sensors, etc.
If you can live with any shortcomings and the price is right good luck.
