This is not a Cosworth engine, It's a 2.5 V6 from a Mondeo and they are a very misunderstood in the petrol head world hence there is almost nothing available other some add on induction kits available, it's also what makes this power plant undesirable and cheap as chips, that was the single reason I went for this engine, I knew I could make it fly for next to nothing.
Love the car and some very impressive mods there smile

Worth mentioning that this V6 is used in the Noble... Im running my 3L version at over 700bhp currently so they are very very tuneable.

If you want to run more boost you need to drill the block to spray oil on underside of pistons and run a shorter rod... thats what noble did and the 3L version can be pushed to 500bhp in that guide with only internal mod being valve slings.

The 2.5L (ST200) and 3L (ST220) are slightly different mechanically however they are a direct swop, as the 3L is more tuneable.

A very impressive build. I'm not a lover of Fords (my first car was a Mk2 escort) but your car is an exception, it looks amazing. I bet its a handful?

I seem to recall the ST220 heads fit on the 2.5 though. There was a guy who ran one in a Mondeo ST24 - produced about 245bhp / 215 lb ft. Think there were some challenges around injectors (ST24, ST220 and ST220 all different) and wiring, but if the OP is capable of creating this, I doubt it'd be an issue!

Edited... I stand corrected:

- ST220 3.0L Block, modified to suit ST200 heads
- ST200 Heads, ported/polished with 3.0L valves fitted
- ST200 Cams
- ST200 19lb green injectors
- ST200 Throttle Body
- ST200 Upper Inlet Manifold
- Buckshot Motorsport Lower Inlet Manifold
- MSDS Extreme Ceramic coated tubular headers

I've looked at all that but it's always a question of money, the 30L lump still a bit pricey but getting cheaper all the time, the other combinations of heads, upper & lower manifolds also cams, at the end of the day your only trying to improve the induction side but your really just flogging a dead horse, all the above combinations are splitting hairs, force induction is the only way to release the potential this engine has.
When researching this engine, I found that Ford did build 3 Mondeo's with the Vortex supercharger fitted to the 2.5 with some stunning results, however this was binned due to the company car tax laws where the majority of that size of car is sold and that's when they favoured the 30L lump, as said before there is only one way to go with this lump whatever combo you have.

Actually, we're detracting from the fact that you've created a really interesting car here.

The bottom pictures in your second post have a movie icon but when you click it just shows a picture.

Could you give us a direct link to the movies? I'd like to hear what she sounds like lick

Not many I can go to due to work commitment's during the summer months, will be at some local shows to me.
It took me by surprise at the last show I done because it won best in show at the Selkirk vintage car rally

I've seen this a few times at the local(ish) shows now, very nice indeed!
Good to see something different from the usual Escort scene.

Never realised it had a supercharger though!

Sounds great OP, I can see why you can't stop driving it.
Is it hard to mate an MT75 to the V6 or are there adapter plates available?

It weigh's around 1200Kg, not the lightest Mk1 around but it is a 1/3 Seirra 1/3 Mondeo 1/3 Escort.
As to mating up to a MT75, that bit was easy, I have pictures how I did it if anyone's interested.
