Mini Cooper 2001 classic style with 182 miles since new
Discussion
Mini will be at CCA auction next week. 182 miles since new, one of the very last Minis off the production line and the very last Mini to be registered in Scotland. Bought new by Inverness Rover dealer and immediately placed in heated storage.
CCA have given it 135 points out of possible 135. Absolutely as new.
This is not an advert and I have absolutely no connection with the sale, I am just drawing attention to this very special Mini.
It's a Mini collector's dream but it will be interesting to see how much it sells for and how the price will rise if it's banded around a few dealers.

It was in their auction last week but didn't make the sellers reserve. Cant recall where it got up to (I think £9k) before it was passed.
Unless you are going to put it on display pointless over paying as every mile is going to eat into the extra premium you've paid. Unless of course you want literally a 'brand new' car.
I like classics and we can debate the 'better than money in the bank all day long' but the enjoyment for me is in the driving. So whoever buys it please drive it

I'm a little torn on these 'delivery miles' type classics. Part of me agrees with the above that they should be driven not stored. The other part thinks that there are so many other similar Minis on the road already that it would be a shame to spoil such a unique car by racking up the miles.
I suppose its a problem only the buyer will actually have to face!
