RE: Land Rover confirms Evoque Convertible

Typical PH comments! This car is not really designed for the uk market and will sell hardly any over here. Jag sell far more cars abroad and these markets have different tastes to here. This actually works somewhere like the USA and some of the emerging markets. If it means JLR all these and make a profit in order to develop new projects then I'm all for it

An object lesson in practicality.
Now it's easier to hear people calling you a kb.
Or an object lesson in making money - after all that is what LR are in business for, no??Now it's easier to hear people calling you a kb.
Remember PHs is the minority and is also usually wrong...the rest of the world couldn't care less what we think...

Indeed, as an avid supporter of JLR I have no doubt that it will be a commercial success.
Doesn't stop the PH minority having a laugh at it though.

I'd say it's totally designed for the UK. We are the biggest buyers of convertibles in Europe, and as we all know, it will appeal to a certain demographic in this country and will sell in big numbers. Not my cup of tea though.
