8.5:1 compression 2.3 litre 5 cylinder engine, 63mm inlet/outlet intercooler 73mm deep, full height and width of the (stock) rad, 63mm charge pipework. H-beam rods, head has been ported, R-manifold, 3" downpipe, 100 cell race-cat, larger throttle body.

The existing 19T has gone the way of the Norwegian Blue, and I am thinking about what to replace it with.

19T/20G hybrid?

The Volvo specific Mitsubishi turbines have a circular sealing lip on the flange - if you change (to say a TD05) you have to machine the manifold flat, and they're buggers for leaking after that unless you mess around with copper gaskets etc.

Went for a TDo4HL angled exit hot side with a 20T cold side, 9 blade turbine wheel for (hopefully) more top end.

Sounds like you're describing the camera I had up my arse when I had my prostate sample taken . . . quite a bit of top end on that I can tell you !
