Cracking value for money, a bit like Canyon 3 years ago, although Rose don't supply frames to pro teams as far as I know.

I'm awaiting delivery of the Pro SL 2000; Alu frame, 11 spd 105 and Aksiums. All for £800. I'm fitting carbon clinchers and it'll be my race / training bike.

Well, I wish I'd have thought of that. Their shop is only 2 hours from Rotterdam.

But the ferry trip and the drive there and back would surely eat up any savings to be made on the price of the bike? Or would the chance of buying it in Euros still make it a bargain? It would still be a great opportunity to visit what sounds like a cyclist's paradise.

Ah, well. I've ordered a Trek Emonda now, so it's all academic anyway.

I'm not really worried about getting a bargain,i just feel with the selection of bikes they have it would be good to get properly measured see them in the flesh & as you say a cyclist paradise.

I've not been to Germany so i'm sure the wife & i could combine a bit of touring with a visit to Rose..Looks terrific doesn't it.

Some great deals on there

Sod going to Europe to buy it, just compare the geo to your existing bike and mail order, its all pretty common sense. Especially if you have a bike/bikes to compare against.

I was going to do just that before I decided to put off N+1 until next year. We're a subset of a car forum, after all, and it seemed like as good an excuse for an Autobahn blast as any. Rose at Bocholt, then via the Nordschleife to Canyon at Koblenz. More fun than waiting in for the courier, and you'd get to test ride the bikes around a car park at least before buying.

I rode the Aluminium GF at the bike show - seemed a nice bike.

I had a hankering for the CDX, they are tonking value - Di2 and hydraulic discs for just over 2K.

The 'raw' grey carbon and blue is not to everyone's taste though as it is really dull and patchy up close which you can't see on the web pictures.

I probably should have bought the CDX as I thought it looked good!

I put my order in for a white/black/green one 2-3 weeks ago. Only 5 more weeks until delivery!

After comparing various other options, nothing came close in terms of the level of kit for the money.

Nice one , i wish i knew this before i bought my CGF4000 . 12 bloody weeks i waited but in all fairness they did tell me before i paid for it.

It's a beautiful bike & it's not coming out until the summer .

Really cannot speak highly enough about Rose .

Aha the chap who got things moving with my Pro DX Cross saga last year wink

I'll happily vouch for Fin, he restored my faith in Rose after the Fork recall on my bike....I'm seriously considering ordering a new road bike from Rose now smile
