Any recommendations on this bulb? The bulbs are currently halogen with an AC transformer so the bulbs need to be AC compatible. I could change the transformer for a proper LED driver but the cost is getting silly. I have seen some AC compliant G4 1w bulbs but buying LED's is a minefield.

My goto brand, Megaman, don't do AC compatible if I understand the datasheet correctly.

How do you know its AC, is it one of the older heavier toroidal transformers?

You should bite the bullet and change out the transformer. AC is not kind to LEDs that's why you're struggling to find them.

Thanks both. It's definitely an AC transformer. I'll take your guidance E36GUY given your line of business.
