Apologies if this has been covered to death in the past, I have been googling but thought it better to ask those that have done this.
I've been restoring my '72 VW Bus for 5 years and am on the cusp of finishing, I took for an MOT yesterday (which it passed) and now have niggles to sort out along with other work etc.
But I am now very aware that is has increased in value and desirability to the wrong people, chancers and car thieves.
So, I need to ensure I have some suitable security, I know if someone wants it enough it can be taken but if it is taken, does a tracker give me a chance of it being recovered, I understand that GPS can be stopped by it going underground or into a garage? Are there better solutions that are proven?
I don't really want to go the cheap DIY route of my own tracker, I'm looking for something that works and will let me get it back unless I really have fallen foul of the professional thieves that will have it on a ship the say day or whatever.
Thanks.
