Hi, anyone know of any decent body shop in the North Tyneside area?

I've a spoiler needs painting and fitting to my MGF Plus a couple of paint areas sorted.

For cheap and cheerful look for Alspray, a one man band just up from the quayside, knows is stuff, an enthusiast, and good prices.

For a fully fledged pro job, look for Heaton Coachworks, one of the best pro's in the area.

(I've no connection with either, so hopefully not breaking any rules)

There's a body shop behind Armold Clarie at Shiremoor. Anyone got experience of them?

Garry Charlton at Chipsaway near Silverlink is worth a shout. He doesn't do mobile work these days, just works out of a bodyshop.

I think I know him. Name rings a bell. I'll try him as I could do with a SMART repair on a pea sized dent I put into the car, with my other car!

Garry is a good bet, don't try and pay him in BBQ chicken wings though - you won't have enough!

Gordon at GF Bodywork in Sandyford is recommended for a bigger job.

Bob and Erica Dingwall from Whitley Bay are also well spoken of. They must trade on word of mouth alone as I hear them mentioned all the time for bodywork among friends, but I don't know the name of their garage!
