Well, it's that time of year when we reveal who will be the UK entry

Electro Velvet will be it.

Some people love it, others think it's ste. I'm afraid I'm in the latter camp.

Unfortunately, and I really do mean that, I won't be able to watch it live this year. Gutted.

I really like it - it has a quirky feel to it not dissimilar to Caro Emerald and an upbeat charleston tempo.

even if it won't win its loads better than our recent entries.

I watched it last year, 1st time in many many yrs, and found the whole thing quite funny. Will definitely watch again this yr.

Our entry is f***ing dire. As pointed out, it is the potato waffle tune but also, for me, has terrible echoes of that depth we plumbed with "Rock Bottom"

As soon as PKN were confirmed as the Finnish entry (yes I did vote for them, from England! ) I went straight to some betting site and put £20 on them at 6-1 for the win.

If you haven't seen their documentary, The Punk Syndrome, try and find it. I enjoyed watching it.
