Going to be meeting up with a group of friends at Runnymede for breakfast at the cafe during the summer, looking for some route suggestions for a drive out for 2-3 hours and a decent lunch stop area at the end. Not high performance stuff so more of a trundle than a blast.

Thanks in advance smile

2 hours gets you to a lot of places. Which direction or where do you want to end up?

If you're aiming to be back in the same area you could go to the Windmill at Windlesham for lunch

Slight off topic, does the Windmill do Breakfast? Their twitter feed on the site seems to indicate yes, but they are absent from the Menus

There's probably more than 1 or 2 of us who have hoon routes still in their Sat Navs from other years who could provide good routes. Typically, in normal road conditions, they are 2-3 hrs (10 min on a hoon!)

Brickmakers in Windlesham is exceptional and much better than Windmill (IMHO)....however, both pubs get very busy so I'd advise you to book first! You can also do some nice driving on the way via Longcross etc. Theres loads of great roads towards Deepcut too....

Well in 3 hours you could easily get to Goodwood and have lunch in the Aero Café. (if it's rebuilt by the summer)
