Fos newspaper offer

As some of you will know every year the local paper for goodwood the observer offers free Friday tickets if you buy a Saturday or Sunday ticket. A friend of mine rang the paper today but was told the only offer this year will be half price moving motor show tickets.so to the regular contributors who I have sent the vouchers to sorry to give you this news

I could see it coming, after all the event sells out each year so why offer cheap/free tickets.

well... thats a bit rubbish... you would think they would give something to the local population... :-((

not much point going just 1 day, if you pay full price for 2 you may as well pay a bit more and get a weekend ticket... this offer used to work well for me... maybe i'll do FormulaE instead..

I think they stopped it last year because of the unusually large take up on these offers!

Can't blame them if they sell all the tickets without special offers

Sure there will come a day when they don't have to give tons of tickets away for MMS on the Thurs as well

Any discount codes this year for FOS Thursday?

Got free tickets last year for Thursday with GA Buyer Magazine and through Telegraph previous years.

I heard there is a Telegraph 25% discount code but was unable to find it-anyone know of it?

?? - sorry you lost me ?? (perhaps your don't rate FE then ?? )

Had a look at the FE ticketing the other day... seems a bit overpriced for what you get... (plus a very confusing structure.. )

edit - I have a FOS Sunday ticket... was looking at FE on the saturday... i take it there is no paper offer this year ? i.e. no free tickets ??

I think what they're trying to say is you complained that you can't get a discounted ticket so your going to pay full price at formula E

.. i was just thinking of doing something different (cheaper) instead of a full 4/3 days at FOS thats all...

The free tickets aren't generally given away until a lot closer to the weekend anyway I don't think. I guess it all depends on how many tickets are actually bought for the Thursday. It was packed last year but don't know how many people paid or got free tickets.

I did hear a rumour that there was to be a second moving motor show day on the Wednesday, but not sure if that had any truth in it
