Probably all filmed already, isn't it? Or do they really film it that close to the wire?

Isn't Andy Wilman the producer? Co-owner of the brand and chap he went to school with. Very odd.

Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson has been suspended by the BBC "following a fracas" with a producer.

The corporation said the presenter had been suspended "pending an investigation".

"No one else has been suspended. Top Gear will not be broadcast this Sunday," it said.

"The BBC will be making no further comment at this time."

They film the studio bits on the Wednesday before transmission.

Could this really be it? Can you imagine a Top Gear with May and Hammond and A.N.Other person? Kinda think the machinery needs all three to work.

That said I'm sure the BBC would be happy to continue making money hand over fist on worldwide syndication of repeats.

As if he cares.. JC is bigger than Top Gear and will just take his brand and format elsewhere (ITV?) if they decide to let him go? Doesn't he own 50% of the company that make TG?

Could it be a publicity stunt ?,,

No, what am I saying. Top Gear would never try anything like that.......

Would they?

Andy Wilman is Exec Producer. Looking at IMDB, there's loads of "other" producers who contribute to the show, so I would think more likely to be one of them?

If it is Wilman, then I think we can kiss goodbye to Top Gear....
