Will I be saving money on fuel when I'm at the Ring this Easter, now that GBP = 1.41 Euro, or have fuel prices risen as the Euro has fallen in value?

How much is 'Super' per litre now? In the UK its equivalent of 1.58 Euro.

To check nearer the date use www.clever-tanken.de
and enter the postcode for the Nurburgring (52530),
enter the distance you'd be prepared to travel to fill up and the type of fuel,
and you'll get a list of the nearest petrolstations with the current prices
Hope this helps

Is fuel not controlled in price in Germany, ie it's a set price ? Thanks for that helpful website.

No. The only thing controlled on the fuel price is the tax - just like in the UK.
In order to help competition in fuel supply, the state issued a law that all petrol stations need to report their fuel prices to a central database "MTS-K", in the minute they are changing it.
Theres apps available that report fuel prices in real time, so you can choose if you want to fill up here, or 50km away.
