what do you guys reckon the values are doing this year? with so few for sale its hard to judge. last year I didnt see many below 20k, more 22-30K with the odd exeptions like the one in europe and the dodgy one in Halifax.

Mine is a previous CatD so not expecting it to be 20+ but has got to be better than the dodgey one at 15K and the one abroad for 15k shirly? welcome your opinion!

Supply and demand, not many for sale, and at last the car is getting the recognition it deserves, so demand is high, I think the days of genuine car for £15k are well and truly gone, £20k plus for a decent car now IMO

That Target Cars Tamora has been up for sale around two years! No-one wants to touch it, it seems...

Just had mine back yesterday from TrackvRoad after having a 12k service,JP sports exhaust and a momo steering wheel fitted.I asked Craig for a written insurance valuation.
For similar spec, leather, aircon, milage and condition £25k in the current market.I paid £17k for it last September,so it should be worth well over £20k.

Am wondering if we bought at the right time. I bought mine only 17 months ago for £16k (It was up for £17k), and now has a valuation of £29,999. Although, I have spent a little on since purchasing, to bring it up to scratch...

I would certainly take 20k+ for mine, if it was for sale :-)

Pretty well documented [on here] sequence of 'upgrades'.

So for am average tam we reckon around 20k. So am early catd, repaired a few years back, in average condition 16-17k would be realistic? It is Chameleon orange too which obviously adds 100bhp!

Doesn't value depend on whether or not its had an engine rebuild?

So my Tam is an all original, good condition (could do with a respray and new carpets to tidy her up), 2 owner 40k miles, 2004, no rebuild.

What's she worth now and after a £10k rebuild?

I reckon £20k now, £25k with rebuild, nearer £30k after respray and carpets.

I've got a full set of unused genuine TVR spiders to sell with her as well.

Actually I've just talked myself out of selling, again biggrin.

Yes engine rebuilds by say power do o vioysly increase values but as I've based it upon an average ar rather than an above average would include either retrim or engine rebuild. With work done I'd expect 25-30k

Mine is a facelift 2004 but has no engine rebuild (currently 58,000 miles) but the most comprehensive service history I have ever seen. Good body work (cameleon green), interior in not bad condition (showing a few signs of wear - but very usable), only draw back is no air con - hasn't bothered me as a just take the off when the sun comes out. Simply not using it enough so have been thinking about putting it up at £22k. Is that about right?

There are so few for sale, but there are buyers out there. But its like houses, its only worth what someone is prepared to buy it for. May take a while to sell at £22k but you may find a buyer who is looking for that colour etc etc. Depends if you are happy to wait and in the meantime fend off the non-serious buyers.

I have just sold mine for a bit less than that, half the miles and one owner and in my opinion very fine condition, but no rebuild. Had some trade enquiries offering couple of grand less than the asking, but then they would I suppose.

Just weighing up a few options Tony. Only one Sag I would ever buy and I don't think the owner would ever part ... ;-)

What's the problem with the two for sale at TVR MADS? They've been there for ages.

I don't think their prices have been increased just set high in a lower market.

There does seem to have been a leap recently in T-Car prices. T350s now seem to be heading up quickly. Well advertised prices anyway.
