If anyone fancies another "tootle" down with like minded petrol heads from somewhere around East Bham using as little motorway as is feasible to the above, please say & I'll work out a scenic route as usual. I know a few have already mentioned joining me..... biggrin

Do I need to reserve a place at PHSS prior to joining the "run out"?

You are more than welcome to join us on the run down & to park up on the way into Silverstone & hitch a lift into the SS with me or one of the others in the group wink

Sounds good. Could you add me to the list? Thanks.

Sorry chaps, I'm out of this one frown
I had to remove myself from the list last week, got a family function that I can no longer get out of banghead

Have a fun and safe day all, looks like its going to be a good one

Does anyone know if you can you turn up and park inside the track?

I'm not tracking but would like to watch for a while.

Cheers.

I've really enjoyed these the last few times.

What time are you planning on getting to Silverstone, as I have track time booked, so need to be there early for the briefing.

Last time I went to Silverstone (from Telford) I took the A5 all the way - surprised to find it took no longer than the motorways and was about 25 miles shorter

Thanks Andy665 (very useful route) - I usually take the M54/M6 Toll/M42/M40 route (force of habit), but the A5 would be more enjoyable.

Like I always used to until after the last Porsche SS at Silverstone - my little boy asked if we could go back avoiding motorways, took the A5 and was amazed that it took no longer (time), was more enjoyable and usefully shorter, looking at a map the M6, M42, M40 takes you in a big loop

Might tag along if no one objects -)

I'm just up the road from the NEC so would be up for this (depending on which route you go I can either meet at the NEC - can I suggest the car park of the motorcycle museum - or if you head A45 in towards Coventry I can pick you up there)
