Any golfers on here, particularly around Cambs, still haven't joined a club yet so would appreciate any input on where to join?

Cheers

certainly could do mate, although i wouldnt want you to drive all the way over and pay to play at our place at the moment, its more like a ploughed field!

Also play in Beds so again not a huge help. But one to play would be Gog Magog Golf Club, about 5mins south of Cambridge. Probably the best one in the area I can think of but obviously it is expensive. They do a good value men's open but the handicap cut off is 6.

Yep 2 courses, although ive only ever played the Old Course and it's a good track, quite tough too (think the other is the Wandlebury?). They hold the Lagonda Trophy every year (previous winners have included Lee Westwood and Luke Donald when they were amateurs).

I played The Gog's Trophy last year which is the men's open I mentioned earlier and embarrassed myself, not sure I practice enough anymore laugh

Is a lot of money, I'll probably go somewhere closer to home too. Tis a good 80 mile round trip for me.
