Green 7 Hotel

Now don't get worried, since for now it isn't important and won't be until later this year, but the hotel has gone into administration. It's rather like the American chapter 11, and will keep on running to see if a buyer can be found. It has suffered from the recession and catered mostly for conferences, so with the ageing of the décor and less rooms filled it is in the proverbial. But if any of you stay there, it might be wise to look elsewhere for next year. Let's hope for the best though.

Stayed there last night - rooms are a bit tired but staff were pleasant enough. Didn't know about the French "Chapter 11". Lots of famous teams have stayed there - lots of interesting kit on the wall. Hope they hang in.

Off Topic but the Porsche Centre looks massive about half as big as the Silverstone one, with lots of viewing space on the roof. Windows are in and it will very obviously be up and running for June.
