I suggest everybody aims for self-sufficiency but some track pumps, a bike stand or two and a basic toolkit in each support car would be useful.

Hotel - Premier Inn Harrogate Town Centre £131 for the two nights if booked early enough. Breakfast available but not included.

Dinner - Lots of options but are there any particular recommendations?

Sheffield
Hotel - Sheffield Arena Ibis is right on the finish line and is ~£30 if booked early enough

Dinner - 10 mins in a cab to the city centre, numerous chains available inc Piccolino Italian with Cafe Rouge, BBQ joint and all you can eat Asian in close proximity. More authentic stuff via Tripadvisor

1 - Coffee stop @ Cracoe Cafe at 35 miles and 2hr 30min after 2000ft climbing
2 - Lunch stop at Hawes at 68 miles and 5hr 05min - 4400ft climbing
Optional stop at Reeth Village
3 - Coffee stop at Masham at 100 miles and 7hr 30min - 7400ft climbing (Johnny Baghdad's cafe, one of our club stops!)
4 - Finish @ Harrogate at 124 miles and 9hr 15min - 8600ft climbing

The Booking Hall at Rayne near Braintree looked nice as I passed it. Could make a good lunch stop/RV as it's half way through stage 3.
