He's always struck me as a bit of a dhead - that "manscape" hairline is a giveaway.

I'd heard about this before. Plus, IIRC, there was someone on NP&E who went to school with him and knew him only as "thickie Shatts".

Didn't spot this so started another one. But this link suggests there may well be another allias involved.

Eboyd posted in 2012.

"In addition to above - anyone considering buying software from this lot (assuming it's still available as all their websites seem to have mysteriously disappeared) should be aware that Grant Shapps, Michael Green & Sebastian Fox are one and the same person."
Advertising standard authority in UK is now closely examing/investigating "these people" -- looks like they could be in big trouble.
Channel 4 - UK TV broadcaster - has investigated some of the "people" who have endorsed/recommended the products and can find no trace of them or their organisations.
Looking more and more like a big scam - with possible illegal actions - by the day.
As Shapps has recently been promoted to Chairman of the Conservative Party the spotlight is firmly on him and his internet activities - this spotlight will only get brighter - this story has legs and will run.
Watch this space."

What a tt! A quick google image search suggests this should have been blindingly obvious to anyone meeting him, but those rules don't seem to apply to our political masters.

Can the PM sack the Party Chairman or do we have to wait for said tt to do the right thing?

Whereas the BBC says he made clear on the company's website and in the Parliamentary register of members interest that he was using the pseudonym Michael Green

They also say that the only question is whether it was a second job. Because although he declared it as an interest he denied having a second job after becoming an MP.

When does a stake in a company become a job?

btw, doesn't the OP fall foul of the rules banning C&P from newspapers?

It's ok JAL..

A spokesman for Shapps told the paper, "Grant Shapps derives no income, dividends, or other income from this business, which is run by his wife Belinda."

confused do they live separate lives?

Still the bright young things in ConCentral will be devising all sorts of c&p stuff for the drones to rush in and place all over the Internet.

Shapps was basically selling a pyramid scheme which could make you 'more than $20,000 in 20 days'. laugh

Perhaps he should be Tory treasurer and not Tory Chairman.

They call it 'multi-level marketing' nowadays same con just sounds better than pyramid scheme.

How did this slippery snake of a conman make it to Tory Chairman?

Bit more alleged detail on the company here and it's activities

http://www.bloggerheads.com/archives/2012/10/sebas...

It seems Sebastien Fox, I mentioned earlier is possibly his wife, and was still promoting the business in 2012 before been investigated and subsequently wound down.

Lots of attempts to remove all trace of this from the Internet certainly smells rotten.
