Really?

My youngest always wanted one after being brainwashed by adverts.

We went for his sake, and it was gopping, dry and tasteless chicken covered in spicy sawdust and a 'gravy' so salty that i was feeling ill all afternoon.

I don't mind the occasional BK or Subway, but KFC was rank.

They are usually disappointing, but that's irrelevant.

I love a KFC, they've upped their game in the fries department lately too.

Their chicken products are great and their fries improved massively after they took feedback on them. They can be a bit inconsistent in terms of quality but then the fast food chicken market belongs to them. If they had QC like Burger King, they'd really be onto something.

When the Manager i s paying for lunch on the odd Saturday I always push for KFC; a bargain bucket, none of this popcorn or boneless crap, it has to be "on the bone", however I always feel horrible after I've finished, good job its only once every couple of months.

Its a bit like a kebab; good idea at the time, but afterwards......!

I don't mind a bit of junk food now and then (apart from Subway after the halal thing), but my local KFC is a right drongo zone.
The food is exactly what you'd expect, but the clientele is noticably scummy. Chavs! Fatties! Layabouts! Tracksuit-wearers! Nose-pickers! Big gobs!
I don't go there in case I become infected with council

I've only ever been 2 times. First time was in Hamburg, along the Reeperbahn. We were pulling an all-nighter working on the boat. The boss told me to go and get some food for the lads, so I took his Merc S600 and went looking for a food outlet open at 1am.

Found a KFC open so asked for chicken and chips. "How many for"? "Oh, that'll be for 40". It took a while but the lads wolfed it down. I think I had one chip.

The second time was in Antigua, fried and bbq chicken is the staple food for most people. KFC had just opened, so after finishing a late job, I thought I'd give it a go. At the drive-in, the turn was so tight I had to have 2 goes at it to get my big old Chevy sedan around the corner. I got to the window and order a standard meal. I was told to pull into the carpark and about 15mins later, they brought my meal out.

It was kack, but that was 20 years ago. Not returned since. I did have a Maccie D about 15 years ago. That was the last time I went to a chain restaurant.

On occasion. Closet to me is not the best, often runs out as we get to the counter which is a bonus.

I'd get your tastebuds checked out, BK and Subway are the most disgusting takeaways possible, neither produce anything remotely tasty.

They have just finished that 9 pieces of chicken for £5.99 offer - bargain!

Should really have posted this on the Dirty Takeaway thread biggrin

The programme portrayed them in a good light I thought, especially the motivating people on minimum wage bit soapbox

Still would not want a drive through next door mind!

I was expecting the program to show the bad side. I think it showed them in a good light.

I agree with the location of that one kfc. The residents are right to be annoyed. It's the wrong place for a kfc. Kfc will always attract anti-social ass holes who litter.

The billboard which fills my window at work has been advertising KFC Burritos this week, decided I'm going to give in and have one tomorrow.
