With another person. Anyway....

Where the hell has this whiskey been all my life? 23quid and it tastes smooth and no aftertaste.

Very enjoyable and I will partake often!!!!

Chivas is taking a step back now.

It is quite good. The name does it no favours IMO. It's a very fine blend and a treat for the experienced drinker, but doesn't seem to have really pushed that aspect in it's marketing.

I'll be honest I always thought it was.

Mainly as the bottle in front of me has "a blended Scottish malt whiskey" written on the front of it in my hand.

The name comes from an injury sustained by the malt men when they turned barley by hand.

Basically a blend of Glenfiddich, Balvenie and Kininvie

Talking of blends, I quite like Teachers as blends go.

Nope. A blend is whisky made with grain whisky and whisky made from malted barley.

Monkey Shoulder is three single malts: Balvenie, Glenfiddich and Kininvie.
