Aftermarket steering wheels

Hi guys,

So just about to pick up my new motor within the next week and want to start on some simple mods! Just wanted to know if there are any genuine aftermarket steering wheels out there that have airbags too?

Yeah I realise that it's not a wise idea to mess about with the stock airbag/wheel and that aftermarket are normally for track, just young and curious!

Never seen an aftermarket one that does an airbag, not saying it doesn't exist mind

I'd image the cost would be prohibitive of getting approval?

yeah, don't especially want to spend over £50 on the part tbh...

I have a sneaky feeling the MG TF wheel fits and looks pretty smart.

£50 would have struggled to get you an after market wheel 15 years ago, let alone now

you used to be able to get Mountney steering wheels for about £20-30, but they needed a a fitting boss specific to the car, that was another £20-30, these were literally probably the cheapest you could get a steering wheel for.

You can get after market wheels with airbags for some cars these days, but you are talking at-least £200-300 often a lot more
