G55 badges or no badges?

my G55 designo graphite metallic came debadged, but I got from the dealer all the original badges to retrofit if wanted (amg, g55, v8 kompressor)

what do u guys think? Badges or no badges

Keep it debadged. I debadged my CLK63...I think it makes it less susceptible to theft as well as enabling you to burn lesser metal off at the lights...

Incidentally, nice choice of car. I love Gs; we have a GE500 in the family and will never sell it.

I always de-badge my cars.

The main reason is that it makes cleaning easier though, as stated above, doesn't draw the attention of undesirables.

90 odd percent of people won't know (or care) what it is anyway, the ones who do will appreciate it for what it is and not what a badge tells them.

Given the plate I would re-apply the badges and go for some extra AMG graphics down the side, at least 12" tall.

I have C55 without badges and I think this is the way forward.

And those who don't are given a hint by the 'G55 FAT' numberplate and the twin side exit exhausts - nobody is going to see the indicator clusters on the wingtops and mistake it for a Nissan Juke

I debadge my SL 55......I would never debadge another car............put them back on.........I am not sure about the plate..........I saw G55 AMG for sale if your interested.......its up at 15K
