any ideas about bore & stroke of DOM's 5.0L sp6 engine ?

hi alex,

was just curious how to get out 5.0L from the sp6 block as the space between the sleeves is even at 4.0L not the greatest and then the bigger stroke, too ;-)

Don't know the answer and I may be very wrong, however I recall a new crankshaft was part of the deal.

hi 5cento,

thank you, must be more than another crankshaft and conrods, the bore seems to be at the "limit" and for the size of the nescessary stroke the sp6 block should be/is to short, "who knows" would jimmy hendrix sing ..

Pretty sure its a longer throw crank, different rods, lower profile Pistons and a bored and re-sleeved block.

Sure Dom will be along in a bit to confirm though. smile
