I've been contemplating upgrading my much loved, faithful Panny 32" which I've had since 2008.

Yesterday, I was browsing Amazon on my phone, which I left open on the sofa so I could make a cup of coffee.

When I came back after flicking the kettle on my 2 year old daughter had my phone - no big deal I thought and locked it and put it in my pocket.

20 minutes later I checked my emails to discover an order acknowledgement from Amazon! hehe

I tried to cancel, but apparently they work so quickly that I was too late, and it is now being delivered tomorrow.

Oh well, it looks a good enough TV so I'll probably keep it. Damn Amazon's 'buy now with 1-click' system! hehe

rofl

now that's a different type of "in-app" purchase!

(PS you do get 14 days to send it back if you decide you don't like it!)

I hope she opted for one of those 4K HD things.

It's this one:

Is there a better TV for the money (£549) if so I'll send it back.

I don't think the budget is going to get me a decent 4K TV so I'm more than happy with just normal full HD.

Haven't got any 4K input anyway!

I have the previous version in 40 inch and it's been excellent (and large enough)..Buy your little one some sweets to thank her!

OP, don't worry, my mate's son (aged 6) bought an MX-5 for £2500 on eBay. Luckily, my mate's a dealer and they tarted the car up and sold it for £3000 (which was just about break-even).

Is this the story you are hoping to sell to the wife? Good luck with that smile

I'll probably send it back - I don't normally rush into these kind of purchases so don't like having a TV forced upon me!

I notice the fireguard. Now you just need to wrap the computer in a similar cage smile.

hehe

In fairness, the kids don't seem to bother touching any of the gadgets under the TV!
