This is the version with 2,5 inch. Far enough for a 3.4 liter engine. If you want to upgrade to a 3.8 liter engine later I suggest to go for the 2.75 inch version.
M&M ( Manthey) are 100% handcrafted, compared to Cargraphic which is factorywelded with machines. M&M Gives more power according to Jens in Ehresmann. They also supply the tubing for the Porsche Motorsport division ( not everyone knows this).
200 Cell HJS Cats. Regarding 82 mm plenum and Throttlebody, I forwarded MrDemons thoughts of it not being necessary - and with the new exhaust and manifolds it gives gains for sure. the 991 3.4 has 82 mm plenum btw
Also thinking about the 997.2 GT3 shortshift kit, as well as a sports air filter. as the german said, more air is always good!
I swapped it out on the gen 1 as it' was only 75mm, what is the R one size ?
"Up until a point yes" as Jens told me in perfect german accent english : - )
2 3/4" tubing (70 mm) straight through design for max. Power
- Weighs 57 lbs. (25,8 Kg)
- T 316 stainless steel for improved durability over T 304
- Dual 3.5"(90mm) round tips
but according to jens, 2.5 inch is enough for 3.4. 2 3/4 for 3.8.

O yes I ment the TB 82mm size for flow and what the R TB size is as it's larger than the gen 1 cars which was only 75mm
that system is really nice for the exhaust, the price is not nice though I looked into that one a year ago !
there comes a point where you think just change the manafolds and remap for £2.5k and get 360 bhp
or spend 8k and only get a tiny bit more and mostly only at peak revs.
The car needs quite a bit spending in the sus dept and brakes esp if you make one go a lot faster, so money better spent on those imo other wise you can be in for 15k+ may be 20k if you want to go the whole hog.
I can see a point spending £5k on a R or Spyder but above that you buy a GT3 or Gt4 imo and not 20k on the R unless it's a keeper.
As ever the law of diminishing returns, and only owners know what limit they put on the spend in mods.
Also an issue if you want to track it with an exhaust like that, it's going to limit UK track use.
I cannot wait to see it if you go this route though, just not something I can merit doing, I always say, better to buy a faster car if mods go over £5k, I love modding but always draw a circa £5k limit.

full race exhaust manifolds remap and plenum/TB is gonna run me about 5k I think .. for 40 bhp its not that bad I think?
As I say depends on your goals as £2.5k gets you 30bhp and 2.5k gets you full SUS set up.£5k sounds cheap for that exhaust, plenum, TB and remap !
I thought that exhaust system was >£5k on it's own
What's is everyone thinking about these bolster protectors?
Are we interested in getting a group buy together?
Do we have an idea on what they cost now? I know you can buy proper Recaro leather ones, but they aren't cheap (although they do look awesome)
I've tried to email this guy, but for some reason my emails get returned with a delivery notification failure...
