Just before I sold it, I spent nearly all of Sat and Sunday driving it in and around central London in sport mode and sport exhaust engaged, I had so many people just coming to a stand still and taking pictures or videos and the cars sound resonated amongst the narrow streets, absolute music to the ears, this car got attention that no other Porsche could except that Dubai registered silver 918...

I'm going to offer my manual version next, but I have really bad luck with selling cars, my last 3 Porsche cars have gone to Southern Sky motors including that yellow Boxster S on their website that had £25000 worth of extras...

Actually, to be honest I am really realistic with my prices, but they still don't sell, I have lost in total £45000 in depreciation on the 11 cars I sold last year, I did gain £200 on one though!!

At one point I had accumulated 5 Boxster S Black Editions at the same time, my ambition is to acquire as many Cayman GT4 cars in as many different colours as possible....

I will be looking out for GT4s and pick them off one by one, only if the spec is good, then I line them all up and take a picture like no other!!

(Only done 900 miles in her from when I collected her last Nov) going with a Mac 4C, so should be fun.
900 miles since Nov? FFS mate drive it, I picked mine up in March with 29k on it, it's now on 32k - I don't commute, have two other cars and have no real reason to drive anywhere and I've still managed 650 miles a month smile

Pushing a Cayman R on decent roads is about as good as Porsche driving gets, don't get sucked into this future values/mileage/depreciation BS just enjoy it.

Has Dave bought a 4C then?

Dave did buy the 4C, and loves it.. (its rapid)

Looking forward to a long blast over the Alps. Heading over Tuesday to the Eifel mountains for a few days, then driving down to meet Dave and Warren(911uk) in Zurich, heading into Italy for Friday till Monday. Tag along if you're free..

Happy Days

Alas no, mine is the white R behind it.

I'd quite like a 997 GT3 though yes, I'm dreaming at the moment though that one day the new 991 RS will be mine...*huff*

Would love a 997.1 GT3 manual but train firmly left the station me thinks. Its not worth twice a CR.
