Re Cal, he needed that crash near the start of the session , so he had time to get pissed off get the 2nd bike and qualify like in the tech3 days.

Aye, Marquez said that he pushed a bit too hard and lost his lap. From what I saw, Pedrosa is running smooth and had most of the quickest sector times, so I think both Repsols had quicker laps in them. Unless the first couple of laps are chaotic melee then it looks like the Hondas will ease away from the others tomorrow. Anyone think the cracks are appearing already in the Lorenzo garage? If the races tomorrow are anything like those qualifying sessions then i think we are in for a treat.
Moto3 and Moto2 were awesome last year and from the look of things the big class has finally woken up and looks a lot closer than last year.
I think the Hondas will be untouchable tomorrow, quietly hoping Dani comes out on top 1)for his confidence to get one up on Marc 2)for the good of the championship
Certainly going to be an epic season, the brits look strong in all classes

It's fantastic that another manufacturer are in the mix - I'm very hopeful they will continue to be and challenging for podiums - regularly...
what an opening to the season, never been so excited leading up to a moto gp since marquez first race. lowes appears to be vindicated for the stink he kicked up about the carbon swingarm last season. he really looked relaxed while on it even on the fastest laps, real nice flow to how he was moving on the bike ,like he was dragging the bike around as opposed to hanging on to it.
good to see zarco finally get a bike worthy of his talent, wonder what what nico "5 hp more on a 125" terol is thinking of their respective career progression now. he,lowes and rabat look like they will make it a great race tomorrow ,and if it comes to fairing bashing lowes and zarco are two of the best. very premature but if lowes is looking to progress to a good bike in moto gp he will need a dominant season ,with times being so tight in the big class it is unlikely someone that has up and down results will be in the frame for a factory bike.
if dani can get away at the front and stay there for at least 5 laps he will be hard to beat tomorrow. hopefully yamaha have something up their sleeve and both riders will be thereabouts ,if not ,it does not bode well for the early races considering how competitive rossi was here last year. fingers crossed ducati has the pace for the entire race. if the bike is as good as it appears they will be back in a position to attract any of the riders . as good as dovi is, if he could not win the championship riding for hrc,it will not happen at ducati.
probably marquez for the main race ,but the early laps should be real entertaining until they sort themselves out.
