UKIP the future: Fade into obscurity. End biggrin
SNP the future: Lose referendum, fade into obscurity. End.....
How many MPs do the SNP have...

UKIP are a party for backward looking bigots and fools. As society becomes better educated amd more liberal parties like them will fade away. I wonder what the average age of a UKIP voter is. My bet is that in a couple of generations they'll be extinct biggrin

Good chance you'd win that bet.

Consider this:

By that couple of generations, at the present massive rate of immigration and rising, plus higher breeding ratios, indigenous Brits will become an endangered species in their own UK habitat and outnumbered to extinction. There are signs of that in some areas of the UK already and its spreading.

Integration... yeah ... right.

Consider this:~

"I need NHS" .... Unsustainable.

SNP are a party for backwards looking bigots and fools, as society becomes better educated and more liberal, parties like them will fade away.

Problem with that is the 1960's /70's were full of well educated liberal types, hippies everywhere. So the older voters now fulfill your criteria, but are voting UKIP, amongst others. Maybe all those younger ex-Labour voters are swelling the UKIP vote, in which case no fade away.

as usual, you have missed the point by a country mile...

OK, as you have all the figures, what are the numbers for people getting off planes and heading straight for the nearest hospital?

and what is the costs for this?

Round and round and round we go.

New question : what does UKIP have to do to convert votes into MPs?

Keep increasing support. So far I think they have done this from one election to the next (of the same kind of election). Next GE they will also be aided by being the 'challenger' in many seats. Also, it works well for them currently by having the GE not too long after the EU elections.

Accept that (in or out) the EU barely registers on most voters list of concerns; get rid of Farage – he's too 'Marmite'; stop claiming that immigrants are the cause of all this country's ills, as more people than the party give credit for know that's just cynical scaremongering.

It's been this way for a couple of decades. What makes you think they'll all suddenly wake up and see through it? UKIP loudly offered the public a "fresh new common sense alternative" and they were rejected en masse. You'll no doubt call them stupid but another suggestion is they heard what was said, didn't like it and voted for a less worse option.

Like it or not the public prefers the lib/lab/con message. And now the public have witnessed a very public party spat including troughing attempts and straight talking Farage not standing by his word. UKIP's message, other than "EU and immigrants are bad, m'kay" is now "yeah, we're exactly the same as the others."

That's simply not true though.

Problem we have is a large number of voters are tribal, and (as has been shown) will vote for anybody with the right colour rosette.

Just another 'benefit' of multicultural Britain:

'Police raids halt scheme where migrants flew to Britain for just ONE DAY to claim benefits'
http://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/579780/Police-rai...

Unfortunately it is the benefit that taxpayers pay and scammers steal.
Its also a story from the Daily Express!!!

Its difficult to see how the fraud would work. Housing Benefit is only available if you live in the area, so they would need an address I assume local authorities check addresses exist and would notice lots of claims on the same address. The says they are Bangladeshi's living in Italy. Unless they have Italian residence they would need a visa to enter the UK, How did they get visas? Even if they had Italian citizenship so can travel and work in the UK they would need evidence of a job in the UK as well since Housing Benefit is not available to EU jobseekers.

Sounds like a typical rubbish news story.

They might not technically be classed as third world, but let me tell you, they might just as well me to a huge chunk of their population.
I have not been to Bulgaria but I have been to Romania a lot, will be there again in 3 months. It is deficiently not 3rd world nor has any person I have spoken to there ever said its 3rd world.

Immigrants who earn approx £37K plus contribute, less than that and they are a net drain. Not their fault, its our benefits system that produces that result.
Would you like to provide some support for that figure.

Since its higher than the national average wage it means over 50% of the UK population does not support itself. Clearly that is wrong.

It's not wrong.

There are several different studies online showing the numbers but most agree that for income tax the top 50% contribute around 90% of the total income tax.

Typical split is normally:
Top 1% = 25%
90-99% = 30%
50-90% = 35%
10-50% = 10%
Bottom 10% = 0.000000001%

How does that tell me anything?

I'll answer that for you. It doesn't, it's not evidence of anything.

They're not though. In general young people are not voting UKIP.

No, the Hippies in the 60s and 70s are why we now have Gay marriage and women Bishops amongst other things.
