I know there was a post a couple of months ago about the gearbox grommet and was wondering if anybody had seen this

Its the same one, i followed that thread and bought one. Perfect though it does take a bit of muscle to get in. Ended up sitting it in boiling water for 10 mins to get it pliable enough to fit it, but it fits lovely smile

Am I the only one who read that title and found himself saying, in his best approximation of a Peter Sallis Yorkshire accent "now where did I put that gearbox, Gromit?"

It's quite funny, I started that thread, it ran for pages and pages. I bought one and haven't got round to fitting it yet laugh

Of course I do - I only live about 40 miles south of it, and my mother spent her formative years in Halifax.
She always said "baaath", not "barrth", (when referring to where she kept the coal) to her dying day.

Yup, I can get to Hull and back in a couple of hours

(isn't that how you describe Meadowhall on the Saturday before Christmas?)

I've been to Doncaster.......had a double blow-out on the A1 and needed some tyres pronto.

I can confirm your comment - there definitely ain't anything lower than Doncaster! hehe
