Self employed as HGV DVR, LTD company?
Discussion
First off, sorry if this has been covered before, i have searched but couldn't find anything on here.
I had a successful interview with an agency today for my first class1 HGV job but im a bit unsure of how to sort out my tax affairs.
They told me that most of their drivers are self employed and are registered as ltd companies. I have always been an employee on paye up till now so i dont have the first clue about any of this, but dont want to shoot myself in the foot and end up paying more tax than i have to.
I will still be working another job part time and both wages together would probably tip me over onto the higher band of paye if i was to pay tax that way.
Any advice would be appreciated
Cheers
