LaFerrari at the 'ring: Time For Tea?

Nope, not an official lap for Ferrari, instead an owner with his car. And some skids.

If you're having one of those Wednesdays, some vids picked up by our man Dale's BridgeToGantry site will cheer you up. Guaranteed to. Here's a man doing what we all wish hypercar owners would do with their cars. Drive them, powerslide them, enjoy them to the fullest.

This gent goes by the name of 'Powerslide Lover' on YouTube, a name he lives up to here. It's not some wild driftathon - this is still a LaFerrari on the Nordschleife - but there are some very nicely executed drifts for the cameras. Adenauer Forst, Wehrseifen, Brunnchen and Schwalbenschwanz are where you need to look for. A thumb goes to the manettino, there's some oversteer, some giggling and then it's back on for the next bit. It just looks hilarious fun.

Yes, the lap isn't the fastest you'll ever see but that seems beside the point right now. And if this isn't enough, see here for when his mate has a go. Good job he can laugh about it...

Utterly ferocious acceleration on these latest gen hypercars, found myself looking at the speedo a lot watching the numbers fly by at an incredible rate

Would love a passenger run in one on wide open throttle just to feel what it was like.

dads owns the Italian equivalent of Specsavers, and even him is in the business.

A guy clearly having fun with his mate, enjoying his £1m LaFerrari at the Ring when most are being locked away in air conditioned garages? Are you sure you are on the right website?

As for me I'm going to say massive respect to the guy for using his LaFerrari as intended and even more so for laughing off a potentially disastrous tank slapper from his mate. If I had the means, I'd be doing the same.

As for the LaFerrari, that noise as it revs to 9000rpm is amazing, sorry but the McLaren P1 doesn't even come close for audio drama IMO. Secondly I know it has 900bhp but that acceleration is astonishing, he was passing some of those cars like they were stood still.
