I cant remember but on my last Monaro i had a water leak and it was just coming out of the rad cap so new cap and sorted. But my car today (different car)is leaking from the passanger side front , couldnt look properly as it was going dark . Could this still be a bad cap issue ?
Cheers
Paul

I know it's an expense that nobody wants, but 10 years isn't bad for a radiator.

As Ian says. Likely to be a radiator on 10 yr old monaro if it's leaking on N'S. Have done a few in last couple of yrs

Plastic radiator shoulders maybe? Mine is a 6.0 litre too. when I had the same problem, a tattoo boy and James advised me and spotted what was a rad failure , new rad in and another 4 year passed still going

Fish is just over £300, or you could try a rad company.

Don't make the mistake I made in getting a cheap rad from America which only lasted 18 months, the quality of the ones the Fish sells is worth the extra. It's one of those parts you don't want to scrimp on because of the headaches they cause when they go.

Was that one of the Mishimoto ones?

Good news !! its just the cap the seals are done in it. When its getting hot the water pushes out of the overflow and comes out of the n/s . Ordered from fish today should be on the car tomorrow.
Thanks for the help guys.

It was a search eBay for "Pontiac GTO radiator" and make a choice radiator. I did look at the Mishimoto ones before ordering from Monkfish but read a lot of stories about them failing quite early on.

New cap arrived, thanks to the guys at Fish for a quick turnaround.
Had the car fully warmed up a few times , no sign of any leaks checked the level spot on.
I am a happy camper today.
