Emailing David Cameron is like shouting at the moon and expecting a response. (And I like the bloke)

It's like the divs you see on here (with alarming regularity!) with a problem with their local dealer so they email the head of Mercedes in Stuttgart or whoever the boss of Ford UK is. In some vain attempt to get what they want.

They NEVER read that, their PA does, who simply forwards it to their customer services department laugh

Erm, yes, in part. Their PA team/office of CEO might be the reader, but trust me the customer services dept react differently from that email feed.... So divs is a little harsh, it's a good way to get to the top of the stack for a response.

On occasions they do read it themselves. Emailing at weekends can be particularly effective. On other occasions it gets passed to high level escalations and it absolutely makes a difference when it has passed over the CEO's desk.

not sure about Cameron though.
